BROADWAY BOUND SUMMER CAMP
Ages 7-11 | July 15 - 19, 2024
FULL DAY: 9:00am-4:00pm
Welcome to Broadway Bound, an exciting and dynamic summer camp experience for kids aged 7 to 11! During this thrilling week from July 15th to July 19th, campers will immerse themselves in the dazzling world of Broadway.
Our program combines interactive educational activities with a whole lot of fun, ensuring a memorable and enriching experience for every child.
Each day, campers will engage in a series of workshops led by experienced theater professionals. These workshops will cover various aspects of stagecraft, including acting, singing, dancing, and even basic set and costume design. Our approach focuses on fostering creativity, collaboration, and confidence, allowing each camper to shine in their unique way.
A special feature of our camp is the daily "Broadway Star" session, where campers will learn and rehearse a part of a famous Broadway musical. This culminates in a mini-performance at the end of the week, giving our young stars a chance to showcase their talents in front of family and friends.
Besides the theater-focused activities, campers will also enjoy a range of other fun summer camp experiences. This includes outdoor games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises, all within a supportive and nurturing environment.

ACTION HEROS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMP

Welcome to Action Heroes Academy, a thrilling and imaginative summer camp experience for children aged 3 to 6! From July 22nd to July 26th, this camp is the perfect place for your little ones to embark on an adventure of learning and fun, all while exploring the exciting world of their favorite action heroes.
Throughout the week, our young campers will delve into a variety of interactive and educational activities designed to stimulate their creativity and physical abilities. Each day, the camp will focus on a different action hero theme, allowing the children to immerse themselves in stories of courage, teamwork, and problem-solving.
The activities include hero-themed crafts, where campers create their own superhero costumes and gadgets. We'll also have story-time sessions that not only entertain but also impart valuable lessons about bravery, kindness, and perseverance.
A key part of our camp is the physical activity sessions. Here, children will engage in safe, age-appropriate obstacle courses and team games, designed to develop their motor skills and promote healthy physical activity. These activities encourage teamwork and help build confidence as the children learn to navigate challenges in a supportive environment.
In addition to these hero-themed activities, campers will also enjoy classic summer camp experiences like outdoor play, interactive music sessions, and hands-on science experiments. These activities are geared towards nurturing a love for learning and exploration in a fun and engaging way.

SUMMER DANCE CAMP - INTENSIVE

Get ready to immerse yourself in dance at CSA’s Summer Dance Intensive Camp, specially tailored for advanced teen dancers aged 12 and above. From July 8th to July 12th, 2024, this full-day camp, running from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, has built a reputation for being a comprehensive, challenging, and immensely rewarding experience.
Our Summer Dance Intensive offers an unparalleled opportunity for growth and learning. Dancers will receive instruction from top-quality teachers, renowned for their dedication to each student's individual development. This is more than just a dance camp; it's a transformative journey that enriches every aspect of a dancer's capabilities.
Each day, students will be engaged in a minimum of four dance classes. These classes cover a range of styles and are aimed at refining technique at an intermediate level and above. Our curriculum is designed to challenge and inspire, pushing each dancer to new heights of skill and artistry.
In addition to dance technique, our program places a strong emphasis on overall fitness. Fitness classes are an integral part of the daily schedule, ensuring that dancers develop the strength, flexibility, and endurance essential for their art.
A unique aspect of our camp is the lunch-time lecture series. These courses provide valuable insights into the world of dance, covering topics such as dance history, nutrition for dancers, injury prevention, and the life of a professional dancer. Thursday Field Trips
Broadway Bound and Action Academy Summer Camps take a field trip to explore a beautiful area of Forest Park. We’ll visit the Nature Playscape, St. Louis Zoo, or the surrounding park areas for a day of outdoor play and adventure. A transportation form will be required for the trip to attend. Summer Camp Block Party
We invite all campers to join our end-of-summer celebration at our Annual Block Party. Come grill out and enjoy outdoor games, face painting, crafts, dance, and fun with class mates! Save the Date for Friday July, 26th from 4:30-6:30pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Free Event!
FAQs
Attire for Summer Camps
For Summer Camps: Comfortable clothes for athletic activities and crafty messiness. No dance uniform or shoes required.
For the Intermediate Intensive: Dancers should wear a leotard and tights with appropriate dance shoes; ballet and tap shoes. Optional attire includes a dance skirt for ballet classes and exercise attire (t-shirt, exercise pants, sneakers) for fitness classes.
Please pack a lunch or snack!
We kindly ask that you pack lunch or a snack for your child each day. Our dance camp includes a dedicated break time for campers to relax, refuel, and savor their meals or snacks, ensuring they have the energy to leap, twirl, and shine throughout the day.
After Care / Late Pick-up
