Discover the joy of dance at our Webster Groves dance studio!

Ballet 101 and Tap 101 dance classes are tailored for those in St. Louis who are new to ballet or tap, or haven’t taken a class in quite some time. From mastering fundamental moves, to building strength and coordination, our classes promise new skills and confidence with a supportive community of other beginner dancers. 

EVERY TUESDAY! Ballet 101 @ 5:30pm and Tap 101 @ 6:30pm, at Central Studio in Webster Groves.

Ballet 101 is a focused hour of introductory ballet instruction for beginners and those new to dance classes. In Ballet 101, you’ll develop the coordination, dance vocabulary, and confidence needed to advance to other ballet classes the Central Studio offers (Adult Ballet 1 and 2). 

We've got rhythm! We've got music! Tap 101 introduces basic tap dance steps to help students improve their coordination, balance, and rhythmic understanding. Class format includes a warm-up, skill training, traveling tap progressions, and dance combination to put all the pieces together!

Attire: No special attire required; comfortable workout clothes is all that’s needed! For Ballet, wear socks or ballet shoes. For Tap, if you don’t have taps yet, we have a limited supply of shoes to borrow.
